“Hewlett-Packard Said to Be Close to Buying E.D.S. SAN FRANCISCO — The Hewlett-Packard Company, the personal computer and printer maker, is close to a deal to acquire the Electronic Data Systems Corporation, the operator of corporate computer systems, for $12.6 billion in cash, people involved in the transaction said Monday“.
Per non essere da meno, Deutsche Telekom prova a fare acquisti in Grecia. Sempre dal NYT:
“Deutsche Telekom May Gain Control of Greek Company. ATHENS — With its sales slipping and fixed-line customers defecting, Deutsche Telekom looked set this week to complete plans to buy a stake worth nearly 3 billion euros ($4.6 billion) in Greece’s former phone monopoly“.
