Oggi sul piccolino è salito Ubuntu 9.04 Netbook Remix; con una piccola variante: l’installazione del kernel 2.6.29.1-3e, come da istruzioni che trovate qui. Dopo averci sbattuto la testa per qualche giorno notte, ho risolto il problema alla scheda wireless (post-upgrade a 8.04). Una combinazione di WiCd, Ndiswrapper, Ndisgtk e i driver per WindowsXP32 scaricati dal sito del costruttore (Lenovo, nel mio caso) hanno fatto “la magia”. E’ un esercizio che mi sento di consigliare a tutti; decidere di effettuare un passaggio di release di sera, davanti a CSI, magari sorseggiando una birretta: una catastrofe!
