Oggi pomeriggio ho chiamato al telefono Mauro Moretti, amministratore delegato di Trenitalia, per manifestare il mio pacato disappunto su quanto accadutomi oggi. Più di un’ora su strade innevate, all’alba, per raggiungere la stazione di Piacenza e scoprire che il Frecciarossa per Roma era stato cancellato (non me lo potevate dire/scrivere/cinguettare prima?).

Mauro, lo chiamo così -ormai siamo intimi, perfetta aplomb, si è voluto scusare “a modo suo“, così: ”Non ti ho tradito. Dico sul serio. Ero… rimasto senza benzina. Avevo una gomma a terra. Non avevo i soldi per prendere il taxi. La tintoria non mi aveva portato il tight. C’era il funerale di mia madre! Era crollata la casa! C’è stato un terremoto! Una tremenda inondazione! Le cavallette! Non è stata colpa mia! Lo giuro su Dio!“

D’altronde chi poteva mai immaginare che proprio nel giorno più critico, quando molti treni vengono cancellati causa neve, più di tre clienti contemporaneamente utilizzassero l’app di Trenitalia per sapere di che morte morire. #fail

Scrive Gaspar Torriero a proposito di Telecomitalia: “Con Telecom Italia è sempre così, non ci si può distrarre un attimo e subito ti fregano. Comincio a pensare che sia questo il loro core business“.

Sale a Roma con il sudoku in mano; la rivista è sgualcita, allungo l’occhio, ed intravedo la data: 2009. I casi sono due, penso tra me e me: il signore viaggia poco, oppure… (hey, dorme! Il treno non ha ancora lasciato la stazione e lui già dorme!). Oppure, quindi. E mi lascia solo -buon per lui, col senno di poi- ad “affrontare” la nutrita schiera di promotori Vodafone che m’attornia; reduci da una sessione di formazione sulla nuova collezione chiavette autunno/inverno 2011-2012, discutono animatamente dei dettagli tecnici, sbalordendo -anzi, ubriacando- l’intero vagone a suon di megabit e gigabait, in un tripudio di “Ooooh, i minuti inclusi adesso son duemila!” e “Wow, ci puoi installare anche Skype!”. Arrivati al “Fico! La terza porta della Vodafone station adesso supporta anche il fax” ho rubato il sudoku all’astante, compagno di brigata, commilite, già caduto sotto il fuoco amico dell’esercito d’Orfeo, nella flebile speranza di un indotto effetto domino, e di cadere anch’io -eroe d’altri bit- nel placido silenzio della “no signal zone”.

update: sono le 22:30 e non dormo ancora (grrr); in compenso domani potrò aggiornare tutti voi sulle migliori tariffe voce e dati in arrivo. Ah, dimenticavo: il sudoku l’ho finito.

Un viaggio che è solo nella mia testa, non esiste, lo so, ma che mi immagino molto più confortevole del Treviglio-Venezia -e ritorno- di oggi; e sono a riparlare di Trenitalia (#fail). Non di quella color sangue, quel che ci vuole per pagare il biglietto e far funzionare il wifi, ma quella “azzurrina/carta da zucchero” che pascola in provincia a velocità piu normali; anzi, in best effort. Prevedere l’assalto alle carrozze, il tipico carro bestiame che si forma nelle soleggiate domeniche di weekend lungo, è difficile; e non esiste al mondo pratica di business intelligence che possa farlo. Servirebbe qualche dirigente Trenitalia tra i passeggeri della scatola di sardine ma, tant’è, sono tutti sui binari a fianco intenti ad agganciarsi -imprecando- alla rete “frecciarossa”. Fornire, invece, un servizio al passeggero degno d’esser così chiamato -questo sì- dovrebbe essere possibile; anzi un dovere, secondo le carte che i dirigenti di cui sopra pubblicano orgogliosamente su cataloghi e siti web vari. Quindi niente carrozze sporche, sedili rotti, porte incastrate, cestini pieni, cessi al posto dei bagni, bagni (anzi, cessi) sporchi, cessi maleodoranti, cessi senza acqua, cessi senza carta, cessi senza porta, cessi con le fattezze di un cesso… vuoi continuare tu?

Vado, invece, alla ricerca di curiosità e particolari; oggi per segnalare la bionda Onorevole, fianco sinistro del Reguzzoni, ed il suo battere le mani, in totale asincronia con le voci inneggianti alle “dimissioni”. Asincronia specchio del paese, purtroppo metafora, della lontananza tra quanto succede dentro e fuori il palazzo. (link al video integrale)

Let me just stress out some curiosities; this one is about the blonde politician, the “Onorevole” on the left of Mr Reguzzoni, who’s clapping her hands in total asynchrony with the voices that say “resignation”. E me lo scrivono pure (a voi no, eh?!? rosiconi). Ce ne sarebbe a sufficienza, anzi in abbondanza, per scriverci un trattato socio-antropologico; sto parlando degli avventori del Frecciarossa (sempre loro, sempre lui, insomma noi). Oggi “m’è toccato” il capodelegazione -portava in gita una decina fra amici e amiche- che, appena salito a Firenze, cercando di dar prova delle proprie capacità organizzative, mi pregava -tono leggermente intimidatorio- di cambiar posto con una comare al suo seguito, chiedendomi “Scende anche lei a Roma?“.

Unica ed ultima fermata di quel treno. Da rinchiudere.

Questo mi ha raccontato il commesso del negozio Vodafone nel cercare di vendermi il cellulare cinese rimarchiato. Solo per giustificare l’altra castroneria, effetto domino, pronunciata subito prima. Come in tutti i mestieri la preparazione è importante, l’onestà è d’obbligo.
Ah, dimenticavo: cellulare e contratto per la moglie presi da altro operatore.
